On February 24th, a truck loaded with 400kV cable accessories departed from the Changlan technology group in Changsha and headed to the Arabian Peninsula in southwestern Asia to assist the Manah II Solar Independent Power Project, achieving a successful start to the Changlan overseas Middle East market in 2024. The project is conducive to the development of the Middle East market and the opening of the Arab market along the the Belt and Road.

The total installed capacity of the Oman photovoltaic power generation project is 588.2 megawatts, and the construction of corresponding supporting facilities including photovoltaic modules, box inverter integrated machines, brackets, cables, etc., as well as a 400 kV booster station and 400 kV cable transmission line, connected to the Oman Power Grid (OETC) 400 kV switchgear, is scheduled to be put into commercial operation on May 1, 2025. After the completion of the project, it will greatly alleviate the electricity pressure in the Oman region and surrounding areas, and help the Oman government achieve its national new energy strategy goals by 2040.
